The pomerac is a delicious fruit that I know well from my childhood in Trinidad.
While not so commonly found in Barbados, my friend does have a tree and that is how I captured this picture.
When the tree is flowering with these vivid blooms, the ground beneath
is entirely carpeted in fuchsia!
