As an artist who enjoys painting people, it is often difficult to get phots in detail, as most people either dislike their photo being taken, or ‘pose’ for the camera. I like to capture people when they are unaware, as they are more authentic.
I made a visit to the fish market to get photos. Of course I had to buy fish so that I had a good reason to be there.
The fishmonger in the foreground was about 1/2 in the background of my photo. He was unaware of my presence. This painting is a complication of several photos taken that day.
It was done for the crop Over Exhibition at the Central Bank.
